The Mia Dress – Infant Blessing Dress
This Victorian-style infant blessing dress measures 25″ and is made from cotton broadcloth. This white dress features beautiful lattice and flower lace down the entire front skirt that splits open to an inset layer. This inset layer has vertical pin-tucking, adding lovely detail. Three pin-tucks lay horizontally across the bodice to tie in the design. Ribbon borders the gathered waist and the lace that stretches down the skirt. A light flower and rose is centered at the top of the lace on the gown, as shown in the bodice close up.
This infant dress has simple short sleeves with hidden hem that slightly gather at the top. Wide hem at the bottom of the skirt. The same ribbon-lace-pintucking combo match the bonnet to the outfit beautifully.
This Infant Blessing dress should be hand washed gently. Measures 25 inches long. It is made of 100% cotton broadcloth and ships on a plastic hanger with a poly bag covering. Heirloom preservation bag available in accessories and is recommended for long term storage.
Pin-tucking, or a pintuck, is a narrow fold or pleat in the material that adds ornamentation and detail onto a dress bodice.
