Elsa – Newborn White Dress with Lace Bodice
Lovely and sweet, this newborn white dress seems as delicate as baby. It has a top layer of sheer tricot over the skirt of the cotton gown and ends in a fancy hem. The bodice is entirely covered with classy full tatted lace and accented with ribbon and a little bow at the side corner. Tatted Lace trim also hangs over the gathered high waist of the skirt. It’s short sleeves are puffed at the top and gathered at the bottom. The hem is binded. To finish the touch of this precious blessing outfit is a matching all-lace bonnet, tatted and trimmed with ribbon and more lace.
Tricot fabric has a unique weave that allows it to be smooth, soft, and thin, but still sturdy. It is often used in special occasion wear. This is currently one of our few styles made with tricot. We love the “glow” it adds as an extra layer of sheer to this newborn white dress.
Tatted lace, or tatting, is a technique used in handcrafting a particular lace from a series of knots and loops. It is durable, great for edging as used on this dress, and quite decorative. It creates a very unique and very fashionable look for the bonnet with this ensemble.
Take advantage of these two features exclusively on this one outfit with a reduced price for a limited time. You will absolutely love the bonnet and you will love the way your baby looks in this dress! Don’t forget socks and a blanket to wrap her in.
